My story

I’m Claire and I grew up in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, having a great childhood and living in a friendly neighbourhood. I moved away for a while to go to university where I studied digital arts and backpacked around Asia and Australia, but I returned to MK and started a family. I now live not too far away in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, with my husband and two young sons who keep me on my toes and mean the world to me. I'm a homely girl these days but my sense of adventure is still alive. My family time is golden and often involves countryside walks & bike rides, camping, playing games, snuggling watching films, and seeing friends. I love to cook, either following a recipe or creating my own. There is nothing more satisfying than making something yummy with what's left in the fridge or watching Yorkshire puddings rise in the oven on a Sunday!

As well as wedding photography, I have a passion for portrait photography. I love to capture people as naturally and as genuinely as possible. Throughout my fifteen-year shooting career, I have been fortunate enough to travel Europe (photographing and filming some amazing places and people), work in a studio, and shoot some incredible weddings! This has enabled me to hone my skills and help me progress in my dream job as a wedding and portrait photographer.

I really do believe that love conquers all and being able to document life’s special moments that are entirely based on love, is such a privilege.

I love it when couples are in need of a second shooter because I get to work with this delight. Jade is such good fun to work with and I really value her input (and snacks). Here’s what she has to say;

“I’ve always had a vivid interest in photography from a young age and got to take it as a part of my A levels studies, leaving me with a craving to do it as a full-time career.

I love working with Claire and being able to shoot during weddings - all the joy, and detail that comes with the day.
