Northamptonshire, UK and destination weddings

Wedding photography that feels like you.

A wedding couple holding hands in golden evening light

Heartfelt, true-to-life storytelling for relaxed celebrations and couples who want to be in the moment.

Featured and trusted

Your people. Your pace. Your kind of party.

You want photographs that bring back the atmosphere, not a day shaped around a camera.

That means space for the spontaneous hugs, the nervous breath before the ceremony, your best friend losing it during the speeches and the moment everyone finally hits the dance floor.

I combine documentary observation with thoughtful, editorial portraits. You’ll never be left wondering what to do, but you’ll never spend your day performing either. I keep things calm, read the room and step in only when it adds something.

Based in Wellingborough, I photograph weddings across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and further afield throughout the UK.

Good to know

Wedding photography questions.

What should we tell you when we enquire?

Tell me about the two of you, your wedding plans and what matters most about the day. The more I understand your personalities and priorities, the better I can photograph everything in a way that feels true to you. Once you’ve booked, I’ll send you a questionnaire to help with the planning. You can update it as often as you need to, and I’m always happy to hear your ideas as the day takes shape.

When will we receive our photographs?

Your carefully edited gallery will be ready within four weeks. If I expect any delay, I’ll always keep you updated. Your photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, share and download them, as well as order prints and albums. If your package includes an album, I’ll help you turn your favourite photographs into a beautiful record of the day.

Do you photograph destination weddings and elopements?

Absolutely. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a small celebration somewhere special or a destination wedding abroad, I’d love to hear about it. Travel and accommodation will be quoted separately based on your plans and location.

Can we book a Connection Shoot or engagement shoot?

Yes. A Connection Shoot, sometimes called an engagement shoot or pre-wedding shoot, gives us the chance to get to know each other before the wedding and helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. You’ll also receive a lovely set of relaxed photographs together. A Connection Shoot is included with selected wedding packages, or it can be booked separately for £250. Travel charges may apply.

Can we book a second photographer?

Yes. A second photographer can be especially helpful for larger weddings, separate morning preparations or venues where several parts of the day are happening at once. I’ll arrange someone trusted whose approach works well alongside mine. The cost depends on the length and location of your wedding, so I’ll provide a clear quote before anything is booked.

Is a booking payment required?

Yes. A 25% initial payment and your signed agreement are required to secure your wedding date. The initial payment is non-refundable, as I’ll turn away other enquiries once your booking is confirmed.

How are the payments divided?

For weddings booked well in advance, the total is usually divided into three payments. The first secures your date, followed by a second staged payment and the final balance one month before your wedding. Your quote and invoice schedule will show the exact amounts and due dates, so everything is clear from the beginning.

When is our booking confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed once I’ve received your initial payment and signed agreement. Until both are complete, your date isn’t secured and may still be available to other couples.

Do you charge for travel?

An 80-mile round trip from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire is included in my wedding packages. Additional mileage is charged at 55p per mile. Parking, accommodation and any other necessary travel costs will be included in your quote where applicable. Travel costs may also apply if a second photographer is joining me.

Could your prices change before we book?

My prices are reviewed periodically, so the price shown when you first enquire isn’t secured until you book. Once you’ve accepted your quote, made the initial payment and signed the agreement, the price for your chosen package is fixed. For weddings more than 18 months away, I’ll provide a clear personalised quote based on your date and plans.

Can we change our package after booking?

You can usually add extra coverage, an album or another optional extra after booking, subject to availability. Your package can’t be reduced once it’s booked, so please get in touch if you’re unsure which option is right for you.

Do we need to provide a meal?

If I’m photographing most of your wedding day and staying into the evening, I’d really appreciate a hot supplier meal. It gives me a chance to refuel while you and your guests are eating, ready to photograph the speeches, dancing and everything still to come.

Can we share our photographs with our suppliers?

Your photographs are licensed for your own personal use, including sharing them with friends and family and posting them on your personal social media accounts. If a venue or supplier would like to use the photographs for their business, please ask them to contact me directly. Commercial or promotional use needs separate permission and the correct credit.

Can we have the RAW files?

I don’t provide RAW files. Every photograph in your finished gallery is carefully selected and edited as part of the service you’ve booked. The editing is an important part of creating a consistent, polished collection that reflects my style and tells the story of your day beautifully.

Will you direct us and help with posing?

Yes, but it won’t feel stiff or overly posed. I’ll use gentle direction and natural prompts when they’re helpful, then give you space to relax and be together. You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job. I’ll help you feel comfortable while keeping your photographs natural and true to you.

Should we get wedding insurance?

Wedding insurance isn’t compulsory, but it’s worth considering. Depending on the policy, it may help protect you against cancellations, problems with venues or suppliers, damaged wedding attire and other unexpected circumstances. Every policy is different, so check carefully what’s covered, what’s excluded and whether the level of protection suits your plans.
